JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Six candidates of new Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) come into an interview session with the selection committee on Thursday (Oct. 9).

The six candidates will compete to fill the position of KPK Deputy Chief Busyro Muqoddas, who will end his term on Dec. 10, 2014.

Busyro, however, will also try to reclaim his seat at the KPK for the next four years.

Other than Busyro, five other candidates are Jamin Ginting, I Wayan Sudirta, Ahmad Taufik, Robby Arya Brata, and Subagio.

Later, the selection committee of the KPK leader will elect two names among six candidates to be proposed to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Oct. 13. The President then will submit two candidates of KPK leader to the House of Representatives (DPR) to undergo a fit and proper test. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
