JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National motorcycles sales reached 711,857 units in September 2014, grew by 15.96% from 613,214 units in August 2014.
In September 2014, Honda sold 459,705 units (63% of total market), followed by Yamaha 212,167 units, Suzuki 21,232 units, Kawasaki 16,694 units, and TVS 1,259 units.
The Indonesia Motorcycles Industry Association (AISI) is optimistic national motorcycles sales to reach 7.9-8 million units this year as sales during first half exceeded 4 million units.
