JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Muhammad Nazaruddin, graft convict and former Treasurer of President SBY’s Democratic Party, revealed on Wednesday (Oct. 9) that Alex Noerdin, South Sumatra Governor and Golkar Party key leader, has received 2.5% fee from the controversial construction project of the athlete dormitory in Palembang, South Sumatra.

Nazaruddin, as quoted by Kompas.com before the questioning at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), also revealed that Mirwan Amir (Democratic Party), Olly Dondokambey (PDI-P), and Wayan Koster (PDI-P) have received fees from the project.

KPK, as scheduled, will question Nazaruddin as witness this afternoon to confirm allegation of fee received by Alex Noerdin from the athlete dormitory’s construction project.

As reported earlier, Alex Noerdin’s name was mentioned in the KPK’s indictment against Mohammad El Idris, Marketing Manager of PT Duta Graha Indah (DGI) and one of suspects in the case. The indictment mentions Idris’ confession about PT DGI’s plan to give a 2.5% fee from the total Rp191 billion fund of the athlete dormitory’s construction project to Alex. PT DGI was the winner of the project tender.

Alex Noerdin, meanwhile, has previously denied all allegations against him related to the athlete dormitory case, including allegation on receiving fee from the project. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
