PHILADELPHIA (Yosefardi) – Aberdeen Indonesia Fund, Inc., a closed-end equity fund, invested 40.8% of its total portfolio assets in consumers segment in Indonesia as of August 31, 2014.
On August 31, 2014, the Fund’s net assets amounted to US$106.3 million and the Fund’s NAV per share was $11.20.
Aberdeen Indonesia invested 21.7% of net assets in consumer staples and 19.1% in consumer discretionary. It also invested 23.8% of net assets in financials, materials 12.5%, industrials 8.9%, telecommunications 5.3%, energy 3.5%, utilities 2.4%, health care 1.7%, and cash 1.1%.
The Fund’s ten largest equity holdings as of August 31, 2014, representing 59.8% of net assets, were Bank OCBC NISP 10.8%, Bank Permata 9.8%, Holcim Indonesia 6.5%, Unilever Indonesia 4.4%, Vale Indonesai 4.1%, Mandom Indonesia 3.8%, Multi Bintang Indonesia 3.7%, and Wintermar Offshore Marine 3.5%.
