JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned Indopos Editor in Chief Don Kardono for a questioning on Tuesday (September 9) related to further investigation into a number of graft cases related to several procurement projects in the Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry implicating Jero Wacik, former ESDM Minister and key leader of Democratic Party.

This is a second questioning for Don Kardono as witness in the case.

Besides Don Kardono, the KPK has also this morning questioned Daniel Sparingga, one of Special Staffs from President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), another witness in the case.

As reported earlier, the KPK has named Jero as graft suspect on September 3. KPK Chief Abraham Samad said Jero is alleged for blackmailing and receiving cash money from, for example, state-run oil & gas company PT Pertamina related to the holiday bonuses, known locally as tunjangan hari raya (THR), to members and leaders of the House of Representatives (DPR) Energy Commission VII.
