Choirul Anam, Executive Secretary from the Solidarity Action Committee for Munir (Kasum), one of human rights groups participated in the rally, said Kasum has also urged the next administration of President-elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to address all of unresolved human rights cases, including Munir case.
Previously, two suspects in the case had been brought to the court trial. They are Pollycarpus Budihari Priyanto and Maj. Gen. (ret) Muchdi Purwopranjono. Pollycarpus had been sentenced to 20 years in jail, but later the Supreme Court reduced his jail term into 14 years.
