JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Private equity fund Creador allocates US$300 million for acquiring some shares of Indonesian companies, also companies in India and Malaysia, Bisnis Indonesia reported this morning.
Cyril Noerhadi, senior managing director of Creador, said the company will spend US$150 million for acquiring shares of Indonesian companies.
Creador plans to acquire 2-3 companies in Indonesia, mainly private companies engaging in consumer both goods and services segments, including listed companies.
Since 2011, Creador has managed US$430 million funds of foreign investors out of Asia, such as North America and Europe.
Creador has invested in some Indonsian portfolios including PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY), PT Simba Indosnack Makmur, and PT BFI Finance Tbk (BFIN).
