JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Tire manufacturer PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (MASA) reported its net sales declined 12.8% to US$150.06 million in first half of 2014, from US$172.84 million in the same period of 2013.
Export sales fell 11.6% to US$106.13 million. Export to Middle East doubled to US$32.29 million while export to America dropped 55.8% to US$16.6 million.
Cost of raw materials used also declined 11.9% to Rp81.25 million. The the company’s profit fell 22.8% to US$1.45 million, compared to US$1.82 million in first half of 2013. It has cash of US$55.66 million.
