JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President-elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo schedules to meet President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in near future to discuss the transition of power.

Talking to the press at the Jakarta city hall Friday (August 22), the Jakarta Governor said he demands his programs articulated during presidential campaign period to be included in the 2015 State Budget (APBN).

Jokowi also said he needs inputs from SBY to prepare the next government as the PDI-P politician intends to effectively work as the new President of the Republic after being sworn in on October 20, 2014.

In a different place, President SBY’s spokesperson Julian Aldrin Pasha, noted the meeting between SBY and Jokowi will likely take place next week.

Julian said SBY is now on schedule for a working visit to Papu, Timor Leste, and Bali until August 29. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
