JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Industrial estate developer PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) reported its net profit dropped 50% to Rp189 billion in the first half of 2014, from Rp382 billion in the same period of 2013.

As published on financial report earlier, SSIA’s profit was recorded at Rp241.2 billion, a 39.6% from previous Rp399.67 billion.

While revenues declined 7% to Rp2.18 trillion from Rp2.34 trillion a year earlier. Its subsidiary PT Nusa Cipta Raya Tbk booked revenues of Rp1.56 trillion, a 8% rise. As of June, Nusa Cipta, engaging in construction business, booked contracts of Rp4.09 trillion.

SSIA plans to raise US$100 million loan, equivalent Rp1.1 trillion, in the second half
of this year. The company in now approaching 3 local banks for proposing to get loan, used to fund its office tower project in Jakarta area which costs US$150 million.

SSIA also allocates Rp300 billion for hotel expansion this year.
