JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PKS lawmaker Fahri Hamzah has denied allegation on receiving US$25,000 from Permai Group, a company owned by former Democratic Party’s Treasurer and graft convict Muhammad Nazaruddin.

Permai Group have won many projects tendered by the government.

The PKS Deputy Secretary General argued that he never had a contact with Nazaruddin, Yulianis (former Finance Deputy Director of Permai Group), and companies of Nazaruddin and Yulianis.

Fahri also said he does not have office address Permai Group. He however would not sue both Yulianis and Nazaruddin for their allegations on him.

As reported earlier, Yulianis was testified at the Monday’s graft case trial of Hambalang sport center project as witness for Anas Urbaningrum, former Democratic Party Chairman and the defendant in the case.

Yulianis revealed to the court trial that Nazaruddin gave the money to Fahri in a meeting at Permai Group’s office at Kemang Tower in Mampang, South Jakarta.

She also attended the meeting and took from the cash of Permai Group under the instruction of Nazaruddin.
