JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The powerful Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (SKK Migas) will launch 7 oil and gas projects in the second half of this year, helping to support production target of 818,000 barrel per day this year.
In first half of this year, national oil lifting reached 788,000 barrel per day (bpd).
That 7 projects to be on stream in the second half of this year are Bayan Field, Karendan Gas Plant, South East Sumatera Development (Mila-A and Asti-A), Beringin Field, Kepodang Field, South Belut.
This 7 projects will add oil production of 2,550 barrel per day and gas production of 401 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd).
The Cepu Block will also add 10,000 barrel oil per day (bopd) by late this month or early next month, to make a total production of 39,000 bopd, from current 20,000 bopd.
In first half of this year, SKK Migas have launched 10 oil and gas projects.
