JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.16% to 5075 this morning opening while regional markets were in red, to tracking Wall Street.

US stocks ended lower on Thursday, continuing a recent streak of weakness, as Russia’s surprisingly harsh retaliatory measures in response to Western sanctions raised concerns about global growth, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.09% to US$97.43 per barrel in Asian trading this morning and gold inched up 0.06% to US$1,313.30 per ounce.

In Jakarta bourse, Timah gained 1.38%, Visi Media rose 1.14%, Berau Coal increased 1.69%, and Bumi Resources up 0.5%. Bank Central Asia, Vale Indonesia, Perusahaan Gas Negara also gained.
