JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Along with the broader market sentiment, banking stocks only gained marginally this morning on loan growth concern.
Bank Tabungan Negara gained 1.32%, Bank Mandiri increased 0.24%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia rose 0.86%, and Bank Central Asia up 0.43%. While Bank Negara Indonesia was flat.
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) projects the banking loan would grow by 10% this year, though many parties expects over 15% growth. For January-May 2014 period, the banking loan grew by 3.29%.
OJK also expects a less than 10% growth for third party funds of banking sector this year.
