JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Gian coal miner PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), for the second time, today failed to hold its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of shareholders as the presence of shareholders did not meet the minimum quorum.

Then the company intends to ask to Financial Services Authority (OJK) to relax the quorum requirement. The first EGM was scheduled for June 28, 2013.

The EGM aims to gain approval on 2 issues; asset pledge to creditors and affirmation and approval for all the company’s articles of association.

Bumi closed flat at Rp530 per share on Friday (July 19).
