JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Secretary General of Golkar Party Idrus Marham revealed that the party will dismiss more of its politicians following the dismissal of Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Nusron Wahid, and Poempida Hidayatulloh on Monday.
The three dismissed politicians are known as supporters of Joko “Jokowi” Widodo-Jusuf Kalla pair in July 9 presidential election.
Idrus, however, denied that Golkar dismissed their politicians due to their political stance in supporting Jokowi-Kalla.
“The bottom line is everyone who ignores the party’s decision (will be dismissed). That’s all!” Idrus was quoted by Detik.com on Thursday (June 26).
“We’ve still proceed the dismissal letter (for some cadres),” Idrus added.
Idrus was also reluctant to reveal the names of Golkar politicians that will be soon dismissed from the party, including when journalist mentioned names of Kalla, Luhut Pandjaitan, and Indra J. Piliang. (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
