JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’s external debt in April 2014 stood at US$276.6 billion, grew 7.6% from April 2013 position.
External debt outstanding as of end-April 2014 consisted of public sector external debt amounted to US$131.0 billion and private sector external debt amounted to US$145.6 billion.
With this development, external debt growth in April 2014 eased from 8.7% (yoy) growth in March 2014.
In April 2014, the long-term external debt stood at US$229.7 billion, or accounting for 83.0% of total external debt.
