JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The ministry of energy and mineral resources plans to increase national gas allocation to 50% of total annual gas production next year, from current 25%.
One of the strategic goals for national energy security is targeting gas production to reach 1.248 million barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd) or 7,243.18 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd).
While now the existing gas producers only supply 6,963 MMscfd).
The government will next year focus on increasing the reserves and supply of energy and fuels, capacity, and serves quality for energy infrastructure.
The goverment also increase coal allocation for domestic market to 97 million tons in 2015 from 94 million tons this year.
