JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) inched up 0.03% to 4937 this morning opening trade, with profit taking hit certain stocks. Regional markets were also in green.

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.3% to US$102.66 per barrel in Asian trading while gold inched down 0.07% to US$1,252.50 per ounce.

Investors in Jakarta bourse focus on domestic factors, including anticipation of this week’s decision from Bank Indonesia on its benchmark BI Rate and a heating up campaign for the July 9 election.

Astra International gained 1.04%, Kalbe Farma rose 1.25%, and Media Nusantara Citra increased 1.46%. While Bumi Serpong Damai fell 1.25% and Bumi Resources Minerals declined 1.03%.
