JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) will pay dividend of Rp5.35 trillion for 2013 fiscal year, or Rp701 per share.
The company booked net profit of Rp5.35 trillion in 2013, grew by 10.6% from Rp4.84 trillion in 2012. Net sales increased 12.6% to Rp30.76 trillion from previous Rp27.3 trillion.
UNVR allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1 trillion for this year, equal to last year’s capex, used to increase production and distribution capacity. The capex will be funded by internal cash.
UNVR booked sales of Rp8.7 trillion in first quarter of this year, grew by 16% from Rp7.5 trillion in the corresponding period of last year.
While net profit declined 7.1% to Rp1.3 trillion from previous Rp1.4 trillion, due to 25% rise in cost of goods sold. UNVR has cash and cash equivalent of Rp387.88 billion.
UNVR, through its sister company PT Unilever Oleochemical is now constructing new factory, targeted to produce late this year or early next year. This project costs Rp1.45 trillion to Rp1.5 trillion.
