JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.37% at 4912 Monday (June 2) but trade was very volatile.
The index moved at range of 4875 to 4912 during the day trading. Regional markets also mostly closed in green zone.
Adaro Energy gained 3.67%, Bumi Resources rose 3.5%, Astra International increased 2.12%, Bank Central Asia hiked 3.48%, BW Plantation lifted 1.55%, and Kalbe Farma climbed 3.57%.
Among losers were Aneka Tambang (-2.08%), Alam Sutera (-1.4%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-3.42%), Lippo Karawaci (-1.45%), Perusahaan Gas Negara (-3.23%), and Telkom (-2.14%).
Shares of PT Link Net Tbk (LINK), controlled by Lippo Group, gained 50% to Rp2,400 per share on its trading debut today (June 2).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.4% to US$103.13 per barrel while gold declined 0.18% to US$1,243.80 per ounce. The rupiah weakened to Rp11,740 against the US Dollar.
