JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Mulia Industrindo Tbk (MLIA), one of the largest glass manufacturers in Indonesia, allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp350 billion for this year, funded by internal cash.

This year’s capex was lower by 10.26% compared to last year’s capex of Rp390 billion.

By end of March this year, MLIA’s assets totaled Rp7.19 trillion of which cash and bank amounted Rp81.36 billion. While liability reached Rp5.64 trillion.

MLIA booked net profit of Rp370.47 billion in first quarter of this year, compared to Rp14.78 billion in the same period of last year.

Net sales increased 13.8% to Rp1.39 trillion from previous Rp1.23 trillion. Cost of goods sold also rose to Rp1.1 trillion from earlier Rp955.47 billion.
