JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’s leading lifestyle retailer PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) booked net profit of Rp45.5 billion in first quarter (Q1) of this year, fell 28.6% from Rp63.11 billion in the same period of last year. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp27.
Revenue rose 26.3% to Rp2.67 trillion from previous Rp2.12 trillion. Retail and wholesale sales increased 28.2% to Rp2.4 trillion from earlier Rp1.88 trillion.
Cost of goods sold and direct cost also rose 32% to Rp1.43 trillion from Rp1.08 trillion in first quarter of 2013. Selling expenses grew by 21% to Rp949.97 billion.
Its assets increased 8.3% to Rp8.45 trillion while liability rose 11.4% to Rp5.99 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp348.23 billion.
