JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State cement maker PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) booked net profit of Rp1.3 trillion in first quarter of this year, grew by 6.2% from Rp1.23 trillion in the same period of last year. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp220.

Revenue increased 11.4% to Rp6.18 trillion from previous Rp5.54 trillion. Cost of revenue rose to Rp3.5 trillion from earlier Rp3.06 trillion.

Selling expense also rose 23.7% to Rp620.87 billion. General and administration expenses in creased 8.1% to Rp415.57 billion.

Its assets increased 4.2% to Rp32.09 trillion while liability rose 27.7% to Rp11.48 trillion. The company has cash and cash equivalent of Rp4.63 trillion.
