JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Cement maker PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) booked net profit of Rp323.67 billion in first quarter (Q1) of this year, jumped 75.5% from Rp184.39 billion in the same period of last year.
Sales increased 9% to Rp2.35 trillion from previous Rp2.19 trillion. Cost of sales also rose 9.3% to Rp1.67 trillion from earlier Rp1.52 trillion.
It booked foreign exchange gain of Rp31.36 billion and financial gain of Rp81.18 billion. Its assets increased 4.8% to Rp15.6 trillion while liability rose 6.7% to Rp6.53 trillion.
