JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – General Election Commission (KPU) has completed votes counting for West Kalimantan province today. PDIP wins 817,770 votes or about 30% of total valid votes in the province.
Trailing behind are Golkar Party (348,986 votes), Gerindra (236,281), Democratic Party (196,890), National Mandate Party (196,212), and NasDem Party (168,741).
The province gets allocation of 10 seats in the House of Representatives (DPR). One seat needs at least 254,000 votes in this area. PDIP, accordingly, can get three seats in this area.
West Kalimantan province is home to major oil palm plantations and bauxite mining.
