JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.13% to 4897 Friday (April 25), but closed off its high as profit taking hit some local stocks. The index moved at range of 4891-4916.

Alam Sutera gained 3.77%, Bank Negara Indonesia rose 1%, Jababeka increased 2.38%, and Bank Tabungan Negara gained 1.65%.

Investors also focused buying contruction stocks. Adhi Karya hiked 2.34%, Waskita Karya lifted 1.97%, and Wijaya Karya jumped 4.95%.

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.69% to US$101.24 per barrel while gold increased 0.24% to US$1,293.70 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,601 against the US dollar.
