JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Australian Virgin Blue Air was allegedly hijacked in Bali airport, Detik.com reported.
Kompas.com reported the police has arrested a man suspected to have involved in hijacking Virgin Air’s Boeing 777-800 aircraft.
The hijacked Virgin Air aircraft was reportedly landed at Denpasar airport, Bali at 14.10 pm.
Kompas.com also reported, quoting Djoko Hariutomo, police office head at Denpasar, the man arrested was a drunken and had banged on the pilot cockpit.
Virgin Air’s pilot informed the incident at 13.05 pm, one hour before landing at Denpasar airport. Virgin Air was on flight from Brisbane airport.
