JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended flat at 4891 Thursday (April 24), only inched down 0.04%.

Trade however was volatile with the index moving at range of 4880-4916.

Bank Tabungan Negara dropped 7.28% as national media outlets report the government has skip the acquisition plan over the bank by other state bank, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI).

Aneka Tambang fell 2%, Bank Negara Indonesia declined 1.48%, London Sumatra shed 1%, and Berau Coal lost 3.15%.

Among gainers were Adaro Energy (+1.4%), Jababeka (+1.6%), Lippo Karawaci (+1.9%), Adhi Karya (+3.45%), Waskita Karya (+4.1%), and Wijaya Karya (+2.78%).

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.22% to US$101.66 per barrel while gold inched down 0.07% to US$1,283.70 per ounce. The rupiah weakened further to Rp11,608 against the US dollar.
