JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Visi Media Asia Tbk (VIVA), member of Bakrie Group, has Tuesday (April 22) launched pay TV Viva+ in partnership with Hong Kong-based Asia Satellite Telecommunications (AsiaSat).

The Viva+ is a direct to home service which offers local and international contents, including World Cup Channels for FIFA World Cup 2014.

The Viva+ project will cost US$150 million, expected to support 30% revenue growth of VIVA this year. VIVA allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp1 trillion for this year.

VIVA booked net profit of Rp107.3 billion last year on operating revenues of Rp1.6 trillion.
