JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.35% at 4913 this morning.

Asian stock markets started the week on a subdued note on Monday, as tensions in Ukraine kept investors cautious amid the absence of catalysts as several markets remained closed for Easter holiday, Reuters reported.

The Jakarta bourse was closed on Friday last week for Easter holiday.

Nymex’s crude oil rose 0.8% to US$104.30 per barrel in Asian trading while gold declined 0.61% to US$1,294 per ounce.

Astra International gained 1.6%, Adaro Energy rose 0.5%, Bumi Resources increased 0.95%, Timah gained 0.7%, while Bumi Serpong Damai fell 0.6$%.
