JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) booked net profit of Rp810 billion in first quarter of this year, jumped 118% from Rp371.47 billion in the same period of last year.
The company recorded foreign exchange (forex) gain of Rp165.73 billion, compared to forex loss of Rp3.29 billion in first quarter of 2013.
Net revenue jumped 36.8% to Rp3.72 trillion in first quarter of this year, from Rp2.72 trillion in the same period of last year. Cost of revenue also increased 25% to Rp2.52 trillion from earlier Rp2.01 trillion.
Its assets increased 8% to Rp16.18 trillion from previous Rp14.96 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp546.87 billion. The company’s liability also increased to Rp5.12 trillion from Rp4.69 trillion in first quarter of 2013.
