JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Standard Chartered Bank (Indonesia Branch) booked profit after tax of Rp152.78 billion in 2013, dropped 83% from Rp918.48 billion in 2012.
Net interest income declined 2.9% to Rp1.98 trillion from previous Rp2.04 trillion. Net interest margin (NIM) stood at 4%. Interest income totaled Rp3.94 trillion.
The bank suffered loss of Rp3.33 trillion from derivative and spot transactions. In 2012, it only recorded loss of Rp586.09 billion for this transaction.
Its assets totaled Rp62.25 trillion, of which credits amounted Rp32.66 trillion. Third party funds reached Rp29.91 trillion.
Capital adequacy ratio (CAR) was 14.49% while loan to deposit ratio (LDR)) stood at 98.17%.
