JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Indonesia’ export value reached US$14.57 billion in February 2014, up 0.68% from US$14.47 billion in January 2014. Compared to February 2013, the figure declined 2.96%.
Non oil and gas export declined 0.5% to US$11.91 billion, down 4.32% compared to February 2013.
Export non oil and gas to China reached US$1.59 billion, followed by United States US$1.28 billion, and Japan US$1.15 billion. Export to European Union totaled US$1.37 billion.
For January-February 2014 period, the export totaled US$29.04 billion, declined 4.44% from the same period of 2013. Non oil and gas export fell 5.12% to US$23.88 billion.
While Indonesia’s import value reached US$13.78 billion in February 2014, down 7,58% compared to US$14.92 billion in January 2014. Compared to February 2013, the figure declined 9.98%.
Import of non oil and gas reached US$10.32 billion, down 9.13% from January 2014, dropped 11.51% compared to February 2013.
