JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended up 0.96% at 4768 Friday (March 28) inline with gains in regional markets.
Astra International gained 1.7%, Bank Central Asia rose 2.4%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia increased 1.3%, Bank Negara Indonesia hiked 1.2%, Jababeka lifted 1.19%, and Telkom climbed 1.84%.
Among losers were Alam Sutera (-4.03%), Bumi Serpong Damai (-2.39%), Bumi Resources (-2.18%), and Waskita Karya (-1.3%).
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.25% to US$101.53 per barrel and gold inched up 0.08% to US$1,295.70 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened to Rp11,404 against the US dollar.
