JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) only ended up 0.18% as profit taking curbed earlier gain, then the index closes off its high. Regional markets meanwhile closed in mixed.

In Jakarta bourse, Astra International gained 3%, Alam Sutera rose 2.7%, Bumi Serpong Damai jumped 3.45%, Lippo Karawaci surged 5.93%, and Bank Mandiri climbed 3.05%.

Other gainers were Wijaya Karya (+8.59%), Waskita Karya (+6.76%), Global Mediacom (+12.94%), and Visi Media (+8.1%). The losers included Telkom (-2.95%), Kalbe Farma (-1.36%), Adaro Energy (-1.43%), and Bumi Resources (-5.56%).

While Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.01% to US$106.33 per barrel. The rupiah weakened further to Rp10.036 against the US Dollar.
