JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation company PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) reported its harvested FFB production until February 2014 has decreased by 0.3% compared to the same period in 2013.

In Sumatra harvested FFB production decreased by 7.1%, Sulawesi decreased by 0.2%, while Kalimantan still contributes an increase of 7.2%.

Meanwhile, AALI’s external FFB processed increased by 22.4% from 459,461 tons in February 2013 to 562,388 tons.

This increased has impacted to AALI’s CPO Production which increased by 7.1% from 243,207 tons in February 2013 to 260,399 tons in February 2014.

As the impact of volume increase and recovering average selling price of CPO, AALI’s net revenue in 2013 increased by 9.6%, which from Rp 11.56 trillion in 2012 to Rp 12.67 trillion in 2013.

However, the decrease of FFB yield and foreign exchange loss, has impacted to AALI’s net income in 2013 which decreased by 25.3% reaching Rp1.80 trillion.

AALI’s CPO sales volume in 2013 is 1.58 million tons, increased by 10.8% compared to 2012 which reach 1.42 million tons.

Meanwhile, AALI’s CPO average selling price has slightly decreased by 0.6% from Rp
7,322/kg in 2012 to Rp 7,277/kg in 2013.
