JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina plans to issue global bonds, might be in Islamic bond (syariah) basis, worth of up to US$3 billion by mid of this year for funding its business development projects.

Pertamina has reportedly proposed its global bond offering to the government. Pertamina allocates capital expenditure (capex) of US$7.85 billion for this year.

It predicts net profit to grow by 5.65% to US$3.21 billion. In 2013, the company booked net profit of US$3.07 billion, equivalent Rp32.05 trillion, grew by 11% from US$2.77 billion (Rp25.94 trillion) in 2012.
