JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Investors continued selling shares of plantation companies Thursday (March 13) as palm oil price keeps falling.
The benchmark April 2014 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) declined RM11 to RM2839 per ton on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Thursday (March 13).
May 2014 contracts also declined RM4 to RM2817 per ton and June 2014 contracts down RM4 to RM2795.
In Jakarta bourse, London Sumatra fell 1.36%, BW Plantation dropped 2.58%, and Salim Ivomas shed 2.14%.
In Singapore, Golden Agri-Resources declined 2.46%. While IOI Corporation inched down 0.2% in Kuala Lumpur.
