JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Ceramic producer PT Arwana Citramulia (ARNA) plans to build new plant in Mojokerto, East Java, with investment cost of Rp250-300 Billion, to anticipate the increasing demand in the future.

The plant, built by ARNA’s unit PT Sinar Karya Duta Abadi (SKDA), will have capacity of 8 million m2 per year, making total production capacity of up to 26 million m2 per year.

The construction of plant will take 18-24 months. Currently ARNA operates 4 plants, located in Tangerang, Serang, Gresik, and Indralaya/Ogan Ilir (South Sumatra).

ARNA booked net profit of Rp237.69 billion in 2013, compared to Rp158.68 billion in 2012. Net sales increased to Rp1.42 trillion from previous Rp1.1 trillion. The company’s assets totaled Rp1.13 trillion and liability amounted Rp366.75 billion.
