JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up 0.3% at 4673 this morning while regional markets were mixed.

Wall Street closed in flat on Wednesday (March 5) as investors remain concern on Ukraina issue. Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.44% to US$101 per barrel in Asian trading and gold fell 0.15% to US$1,338.30 per ounce.

In Jakarta bourse, blue chips stocks led market’s gain. Astra International gained 0.36%, Aneka Tambang increased 0.46%, Bank Central Asia up 0.7%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia added 0.8%. Also, Bank Negara Indonesia and Bank Mandiri advanced 0.5% respectively.

Other gainers were BW Plantation (+1.47%), Lippo Karawaci (+1.08%), London Sumatra (+0.9%), and Pakowon Jati (+1.14%).
