JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Plantation company PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) booked net profit of Rp1.9 trillion in 2013, dropped 24.5% from Rp2.52 trillion in 2012, due to foreign exchange (forex) loss. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp1,143.93.

It suffered forex loss of Rp443.78 billion last year, compared to loss Rp826 million in previous year. Other cost rose to Rp1.48 trillion from Rp832.59 billion in 2012.

While net revenue increased 9.6% to Rp12.67 trillion in 2013 from Rp11.56 trillion a year earlier. Cost of revenue also rose to Rp8.59 trillion from previous Rp7.21 trillion. Then gross profit was Rp4.08 trillion (2012: Rp4.36 trillion).

Revenue from PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia totaled Rp2.43 trillion or 19.20% of total revenue. PT Intibenua Pwerkasatama contributed revenue of Rp1.49 trillion (11.77%), and PT Salim Ivomas Pratama contributed revenue of Rp967.59 billion (7.63%). Other third parties contributed the rest (Rp7.78 trillion or 61.4%).

Its assets totaled Rp14.96 trillion while liability amounted Rp4.69 trillion. The company has cash of Rp709.09 billion.
