JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shareholders of state-owned PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Tbk (BBTN) have Tuesday (Feb 25) appointed 4 new directors.
That 4 new directors are Hulmansyah, Sri Purwanto, Rico Budidarmo and Imam Nugroho Soeko. Hulmansyah and Sri Purwanto come from internal BTN, while Rico Budidarmo and Imam Nugroho Soeko previously worked at Bank BRI and Bank Mandiri repectively.
Another member of directors are Maryono (president director), Irman Alvian Zahiruddin (vice president), and Mansyur S. Nasution.
Maryono said BTN will continue focusing on providing loan or financing for housing projects. He declined to comment on recent rumour about the acquisition by Bank Mandiri over BTN.
BTN booked net profit of Rp1.56 trillion in 2013, grew by 14.53% from Rp1.36 trillion in 2012. Net interest income was Rp5.63 trillion.
Maryono said BTN plans to pay dividend of Rp468 billion for 2013 fiscal year, representing 30% of its profit.
The government will get dividend payment of Rp901.5 billion as it controls 60.1% stake in BTN.
