JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Foreign investors purchased a net of Rp268 billion worth of Indonesian stocks in February 3-7, 2014, compared to net sell of Rp1.56 trillion in the previous week.

Year to date, foreign investors net buy totaled Rp2.6 trillion. In 2013, foreign investors booked net sell of Rp18.9 trillion. Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), gained 1.08% last week to close at 4,466.665.

Property & real estate stocks gained 2.92%, agriculture rose 1.6%, finance increased 1.6%, miscellanous industry gained 1.6%, and consumer goods gained 1.03%. Mining stocks were flat.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia ranked first in term of value of trading last week (Rp1.43 trillion), followed by Trada Maritim Rp1.34 trillion, Astra International Rp1.25 trillion, Telekomunikasi Indonesia Rp1.16 trillion, and Bank Mandiri with trading value of Rp1.06 trillion.
