JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended higher 0.92% at 4424 Thursday (Feb 6), led by property stocks.

Investors focused buying in shares of property stocks. Alam Sutera jumped 4.9% and Bumi Serpong Damai surged 4.53%.

Banking stocks also gained; Bank Negara Indonesia (+1.2%), Bank Central Asia (+2%), and Bank Tabungan Negara (+7.18%).

Other gainers were Adhi Karya (+2.4%), Waskita Karya (+1.7%), Matahari Putra Prima (+2.43%), BW Plantation (+1.19%), London Sumatra (+4.6%), Jababeka (+1.5%), and Telkom (+3.13%).

Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.15% to US$97.53 per barrel and gold rose 0.14% to US$1,258.60 per ounce. The rupiah strengthened slightly to Rp12,159 against the US Dollar.
