JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) sold 166,800 tons of crude palm oil (CPO) in December 2013, up 7.1% from 155,800 tons in December 2012.
For 2013 full year, AALI’s CPO sales volume reached 1.57 million tons, increased 10.8% compared to 1.42 million tons in 2012.
AALI’s local CPO sales volume in 2013 is larger compared to the export sales (local: 1.56 million
tons; export: 17.50 thousand tons).
This is due to the competitiveness of local CPO price compared with the export price, although AALI’s average CPO selling price is decreased compare to 2012.
In 2013, AALI’s average CPO price reach Rp 7,277/kg slightly down by 0.6% compared to 2012 that
reach Rp 7,322/kg.
