JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Shares of plantation companies were mostly higher in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) Thursday (Jan 23), as crude palm oil (CPO) increased in the futures market.
London Sumatra jumped 6.57% to Rp1785 per share, BW Plantation gained 1.16% to Rp1305, Salim Ivomas rose 2.1% to Rp725, and Astra Agro hiked 4.08% to Rp22950.
While plantation shares closed lower ground in the region. In Singapore, First Resources fell 1.46%, Golden Agri declined 0.94%, and Wilmar International down 0.93%. In Malaysia, Felda Global fell 2%, Sime Darby declined 0.1%, while KL Kepong gained 5.08%.
