JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 0.2% at 4443 this morning while regional markets were mixed. Dow Jones closed in red Tuesday (Jan 21), disappointed by earnings reports of three companies.
Nymex’s crude oil increased 0.29% to US$95.25 per barrel in Asian trading while gold inched down 0.02% to US$1,241.60 per ounce.
Telkom, Bank Central Asia, United Tractors, and Perusahaan Gas Negara led market’s correction. While Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Astra International, and Media Nusantara Citra gained.
