JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will get biofuel supply from PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk, PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia, and PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia.
The parties had signed agreement on this biofuel supply project Monday (Jan 20). This biofuel supply will help PLN to save spending for fuel by 15%.
This project is valued for Rp63 billion and PLN will get supply of 6720 tons per year, for 7 PLN’s power plants in Sumatra and Kalimantan. PLN has utilized biofuel since 2007.
