JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.34% to 4446 this morning opening, while profit taking hit shares of Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk (PGAS).
Asian markets crept higher on Tuesday as Japanese stocks rebounded and Chinese money rates eased, Reuters reported.
Investors took profit on PGAS, dragging down the stock price by 0.64% to Rp4670 per share. On Monday, PGAS jumped 7% as investros shared doubts over Pertamina’s plan to acquire the company.
Adaro Energy gained 1.54%, Aneka Tambang rose 2.9%, BW Plantation jumped 3.08%, London Sumatra surged 3%, Waskita Karya hiked 1.79%, and Pakuwon Jati lifted 1.95%.
IDX halted trading in shares of PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA) this morning as the stock had gained 141% since October 17, 2013.
